Terms of Use
Effective TBD
By downloading or using Milliarium, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Milliarium is made by John Paist. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The notes below explain how it applies to Milliarium. If they ever disagree with that agreement, the agreement wins.
All Access
- Eight trails are free. All Access opens every other journey for as long as you subscribe, yearly or monthly, at the prices shown in the app.
- The yearly plan may start with a free trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
- If your subscription ends, a premium journey you're walking pauses where it is. Your progress is kept, and it carries on if you subscribe again.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
For enjoyment, not navigation
Journeys follow real places, but the maps, distances, stories and pictures in the app are for enjoyment. Don't use them to plan or find your way on a real hike. Trails change, and conditions, closures and permits are up to the people who manage each place.
Walk safely
Milliarium counts the walking you already do and isn't medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, and stay aware of your surroundings while you walk.
Names and credits
Milliarium isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the parks, trail associations, governments or other bodies that manage the places it describes. Their names are used only to say where a journey goes. Map data, terrain and stop photos come from the sources credited in the app under Settings › About › Acknowledgements.
